We are delighted to share some photos of our recent graduation ceremony. Our students look fantastic in their graduation dress!
Whilst there may not be students at school in Uganda, we are still working hard to improve our provision and provide capacity for more learners. With an ever-increasing demand for secondary school places, we are currently constructing a new classroom block to be ready for our learners starting in January. From everyone at Life School, we wish you a happy and prosperous 2024!

Another month of transformations at Life School, with one piece of unfortunate news, but two pieces of very good news!
Due to recent storms and extremely heavy rainfall, our primary girl's latrine block has collapsed, leaving only the secondary girl's latrine block temporarily available. We are now cleaning up the debris and constructing a new, stronger block. On the other hand, we have been so grateful to receive an electricity connection to the national grid, courtesy of the Canadian NGO H2O 4 All. This will take Life School to the next level, as we can have lighting in the evenings for our learners and look towards new opportunities that have opened up for us. H2O 4 All have also donated 60 hens and a hen house, who will be laying eggs regularly for our learners to eat. S3 students are taking care of this project. This will significantly boost our ability to provide our learners with a well-balanced and nutritious diet, helping their education! New classrooms are being constructed at Life School to cater for the surging demand, as the secondary school expands to over 200 learners! We still have one-third of the roof, doors, and window shutters to finish before the building is ready for learners to use. Please kindly help us make this happen by donating towards the building's completion on our gofundme page.
We are incredibly proud of our secondary football team who became the Subcounty Schools Football Champions recently! A great testament to their hard work and dedication at training and during matches. We look forward to posting about future successes as they rise further up in Ugandan football.
We are so incredibly honoured to be the recipients of a new water system, donated and installed by Canadian charity Help 2 Overcome (H2O). The work included drilling, installing a solar powered pump, and putting up storage tanks. This will take us off burdensome monthly water bills. Thank you so much H2O for a monumental addition to our school and helping improve the lives of our learners! (H2O's website is: help2overcome.org)
A new classroom building is being constructed here at Life School, to provide more capacity for an ever-increasing number of students. Thank you for your support and kind donations to allow us to continue expanding and offering a great education for our learners.
As we approach Christmas, we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and prosperous new year! At Life School we continue to strive towards improving our educational facilities and learning experience for the students. Please see below for some photos of our learners, teachers, and the school football team. Thank you to all our supporters this year - we could not be without you - and we look forward to sharing more transformations in 2023!
Our talented acrobatics team recently performed at a party in a neighbouring village, impressing the crowd with their skills! Building work continues on our new Science lab, which we hope to open soon. S4 class will be sitting their national exams this week and P7 will do their national exams in November - best of luck to all students. Despite the incredibly rapid rise in food prices and other costs recently, we shall continue to strive to offer our students a top quality education at Life School and thank you to all our supporters for your unwavering generosity.
Our students were privileged to perform in front of thousands of spectators at a local radio station's six-year anniversary celebration. The crowd was wowed by the gymnastic and acrobatic displays, and the students had a great time performing. At Life Schools, we train our young people not just in class work, but in all skills important to their development and future employment, including team-work, confidence, and healthy living.
